Glut or no glut

Will there be a glut in the market between the months of September and the end of the year? I noticed a pattern in the last month – mid-August to mid-September. It appears that in a few days, roughly about a week, houses dry up in the market. No new listings show up.

It starts to show up on the real estate websites about a week before the rate increase by RBA is set to be announced. Not sure why this is happening.

Although it appears now there are more houses this month than there were about a month ago. I think if there wasn’t a glut before, it will show up now.
